Raven Hall is approaching its ten-year anniversary, and is in need of some major upgrades to our audiovisual system, to continue our mission of building community.

At Raven Landing Senior Community and Community Center, we strive to create a home-like environment where our residents build meaningful friendships with other residents and with community members through on-site events. We share music, arts, health, and other programs and concerts for residents and our community. We have used our audiovisual (A/V) system for years, and now, we urgently need a $50,000 investment to keep it functioning and current so we can continue our community and resident events.

This upgrade will directly benefit our residents by:
  • Improving daily activities: An A/V system ensures we can continue to provide access to enjoyable events like movie nights, special presentations, or music performances. A state-of-the-art A/V system ensures we continue to have access to and enjoy each experience.
  • Enhancing communication and engagement: Keeping residents informed is critical to our community environment. A functioning A/V system improves safety and inclusion in interactive workshops, virtual family gatherings, and other communications. Your support in maintaining this system will keep residents more connected with the world around them, fostering a stronger sense of community.
  • Enhancing Accessibility for All Residents: Our residents with hearing or vision challenges deserve to enjoy every activity and event fully. This A/V system upgrade ensures that no one misses out, creating a truly inclusive environment where everyone can join in and feel connected.
  • Fostering a Thriving Social Community: With a reliable A/V system, we can elevate our social gatherings, celebrations, and entertainment, creating exciting moments that bring our community together. This upgrade isn’t just about technology—it’s about enriching each resident’s experience, enhancing their quality of life, and deepening the sense of belonging and joy within our community. Your contribution will directly impact the daily lives of our residents, making their experiences more enjoyable and fulfilling.
  • Serving the Wider Community: Raven Landing is host to service clubs, public meetings, memorial services, and other events that bring the Fairbanks-area community together. A revitalized A/V system supports all of these community purpose activities.
